Pew

A quieter way to explore.

Pew turns the public benches near you into a gentle reason to leave the house — to wander a little, sit for a moment, and notice where you are.

somewhere to pause

i. The quiet invitation

You have walked past a hundred benches.

Most of them you have never sat on. They wait beside canals, in pocket parks and on the corners of streets you usually hurry along.

Pew makes them somewhere to go. Not a destination you have to earn, not a target to hit — just a small, kind reason to step outside, at your own pace, on the days you have the energy and the days you don’t.

no streaks to lose. no one to beat.

ii. The whole of it

Find. Sit. Keep.

Three small steps. That’s all Pew asks.

  1. Find

Pew offers one useful next bench: somewhere new nearby, a stop you saved, or a familiar favourite worth returning to.

  2. Sit

When you arrive, a short guided pause: twenty seconds, two slow breaths — four in, six out. Sound and haptics are yours to turn off.

  3. Keep

The place blooms into colour and joins your collection. Your first visit keeps that bench for good.

iii. Try one now

Pause. Breathe. Notice.

You don’t need a bench for this one. Press begin, follow the flower, and let the page go quiet with you — the breeze settles while you breathe.

On a real bench, this is the moment the place blooms into your collection.

iv. What you keep

Your town, slowly coloured in.

Every bench you sit on is kept in your own Atlas — arranged by what a place feels like, not only where it is. Go back to a favourite and it becomes a Familiar Seat, then a Local Companion. A gap of a week, or a month, never takes anything away.

viii. Later

The bench will still be there tomorrow.
